![]() I had Rugrats shows, toys, music, and then the movies. I grew up watching The Rugrats every day. What 90s kid didn't wish they lived in Bedrock? I sure as heck did! I wanted to be Pebbles so bad! The Rugrats Movie (1998) Since I see it's on Netflix now, I may have to watch it more often. If you were a Nickelodeon kid, like me, you loved Good Burger! “Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, May I take your ooooorder?” bahaha I still can recite that after all of these years! I remember owning this orange VHS tape! It makes me giggle just to think of Kenan and Kel in this comedy! Definitely a 90s movie worth watching again. Can you imagine my excitement when I saw it on Netflix? “I have two pickles. I don't know a single person who hasn't seen this movie and loved it. I know that I'm not the only one that loves these movies, so I had to share what I found with all of you! Enjoy it! The Little Rascals (1994) There were even a few from the early 2000s that caught my eye. I was born in 1988 and grew up in the 90s, so movies from that decade hold a special place in my heart. While browsing through Netflix I noticed a really exciting lineup of 90s movies on Netflix! I was actually shocked at how many of my childhood favorites were on the list. It's one of the joys of working from home. I was searching for something to watch while I was working. The film also features beautiful shots flying through the sky, creating emotional moments on par with the best that family films have to offer.I was scrolling through Netflix the other day, not giving it my full attention. ![]() It's impressive how well the film can make the audience care and root for a group of geese, with the genuine family connection only further amplifying the emotion. There's an important balance of both heart and emotional vulnerability that all great family films strive for, and Fly Away Home accomplishes this goal in leaps and bounds. As the geese begin to grow up, Amy and her father work together to find a way to have the geese learn to fly and travel south for the winter. While she is initially hesitant about her new home, she finds motivation after discovering a group of abandoned geese eggs. It makes for a hilarious experience when the brothers get wrapped up in stopping a plot to destroy the Old Faithful geyser and the surfer mindset the brothers incur to save the day.įly Away Home follows the story of a young girl named Amy (played by Anna Paquin) who is forced to live with her father (played by Jeff Daniels) following the sudden death of her mother. ![]() Where the film especially excels, however, is the exponential growth of the stakes and chaotic mischief that the brothers find themselves in. Meet the Deedles feels like a theatrical '90s version of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, as the premise and tone accomplish a similar energy of twins having fun in the face of authority. Meet the Deedles follows the story of two surfer brothers, Eric and Elton Deedle, played by Paul Walker and Eric Braeden.
